Were currently seeking an experienced Electrician to carry out preventative and reactive maintenance across our fixed plant and ancillaries.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair faults on fixed plant equipmentPerform high voltage switching and statutory testingRespond to breakdowns and support shutdownsMaintain and calibrate instrumentation and belt weighersBackup parameters on ABB, Siemens & WEG drivesEnsure accurate documentation, logbooks, and isolationsIdentify and implement safety and efficiency improvementsQualifications and ExperienceWA A-Grade Electrical LicenceHV switching ticket and experienceStrong fault-finding skills in continuous operations (iron ore preferred)Experience with VSDs, PLCs, Profibus/Profinet/DeviceNetSolid understanding of electrical schematics, isolation, and permittingFamiliarity with SAP, Fiori, and other digital maintenance systemsA proactive, safety-first approach with leadership capabilityOur CommitmentFortescue celebrates individual strengths and team members are encouraged to bring their whole selves to work.
