Services include counselling, information, resources, group work, and professional training.Key Responsibilities:The Receptionist/ Administrator (Casual) will work closely with the Administration Coordinator to provide reception and administrative duties to all parties in MDC Morwell office & Warragul Office. This role will also support to the team located in Bairnsdale and Sale offices.Duties:Assist with answering telephone for the services for the MDC based in Morwell and in Warragul.Performing reception duties, meeting, and greeting our clients.Undertake clerical duties as requested include using data base, excel, word and PowerPoint as requested with assigned responsibility to complete tasks as requested.Assist with maintaining the hygienic, warm and welcoming environment within our reception and counselling rooms, ensuring that all materials are current, and align to GCASAs therapeutic and client wellbeing approach and meet quality standards.Offering clerical and reception support to our Counsellor Advocate team and those who regularly attend the offices.Working in a diverse team and supporting rostering of tasks i.e general administrative tasks required to assist with smooth practice operations.This may include diary appointments and data collection.Other duties as directed.Key Selection Criteria:Please note: all applications require a written response to the key selection criteria in order to be considered. You will need to show understanding of each requirement and how you align to each requirement with your experience and qualifications.Personal qualities of integrity, personal responsibility, and a commitment to the Agency values of Respect, Empowerment, Integrity and Dignity in your practice with clients and with staff.Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure without direct supervision in a multifaceted team environment, while regularly communicating and contributing to the wider administrative support team.Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to provide reception and telephone services to our clients.Ability to work in a sensitive and confidential environment including the ability to deal with unsettling information and maintaining confidentiality.Ability to provide coverage for holiday and or other leave periods for example School holidays.Must have a demonstrated ability to use of Microsoft suite word, excel, outlook and PowerPoint.Other Mandatory Requirements:The successful applicant will be appointed for a six-month probationary period during which time regular supervision is provided. At the conclusion of this period a performance review will be held with the Administration Coordinator, after this, a decision will be made to either offer ongoing employment or to cease employment with the Agency.Pre-Employment Checks & Disclosures:Gippsland Centre against Sexual Assault is committed to ensuring that all staff have the required skills and qualifications to conduct the work which they are employed to undertake.GCASA will ensure that staff are appropriately credentialed and have a defined scope of practice.
