Based at our Inverell Livestock Office, this role is a unique blend of leadership, operational oversight, and stakeholder engagement.Youll be responsible for managing a dedicated livestock team and working closely with senior leadership and operational teams across the business. This is a hands-on leadership role with a strong focus on continuous improvement, producer engagement, and ensuring our livestock services align with broader business goals.This position reports to the Group General Manager Livestock and may involve occasional travel and after-hours commitments.Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of livestock coordinators and livestock personnel.Oversee daily livestock operations and align program delivery with strategic business objectives.Collaborate across departments to ensure the livestock program supports wider corporate goals.Manage producer and customer relationships, responding professionally to enquiries and ensuring exceptional service.Identify and implement operational improvements and innovative solutions.Drive compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Work with IT to ensure system data integrity and support development of new tools and workflows.Represent the livestock program in internal and external projects.Contribute to the ongoing success of the broader supply chain function.Desired Skills and ExperienceAbout You Youre a natural leader with a background in livestock, feedlot, or the broader agricultural industry, and you bring strategic vision paired with practical know-how.
