About The Role As a Supervisor Maintenance (Refinery), you will be an integral part of the team, reporting to our Maintenance Superintendent. You will collaborate with other department supervisors to build a high-performance team that delivers safe maintenance activities, complies with schedules, standards, procedures, and achieves optimal outcomes. In This Role You Will Be involved in creating a culture of care by being a visible safety leader, engaging, developing, mentoring, and coaching your team. Identify, build, and develop your team''s capabilities through ongoing training and development. Perform and improve BOS routines to ensure a safe working environment, identify waste opportunities, and uplift our culture and capabilities. Prioritize work based on equipment risk to prevent failures and supervise the weekly work schedule. Plan and schedule work breaks based on risk assessments within a 7-day period, ensuring compliance with the plan. Work with other departments and customers to develop and execute weekly and daily production schedules to optimize opportunities. Identify and implement maintenance improvement initiatives with support from the Reliability Maintenance team. Allocate resources effectively to achieve maintenance outcomes through planning and scheduling. Mentor and develop team members, ensuring competency and safety in their duties. Supervise maintenance activities related to process control systems, including software and hardware. Coordinate commissioning activities for modifications and small projects. Lead large, planned shutdowns, providing high-level leadership and support to teams and contractors for safe task completion. About You Demonstrate leadership by example, accountability, and coaching in safety leadership. Australian-recognized tertiary or trade qualifications in maintenance or engineering disciplines. Experience with safety regulations and, ideally, front-line management qualifications. Experience in production line manufacturing, including robotic systems. Proven ability in maintenance optimization and strategy review. Ability to work effectively with high-performing teams and make smart decisions quickly. Resourceful and results-driven, with a focus on quality and customer expectations. Ability to work across disciplines and foster positive relationships.
