Currently we have a vacant role available inJuniper Derby,a well-established facility offering 43 beds of residential and memory support care. Our homely atmosphere provides comfort to residents, including those living with dementia who require specialised support. We are committed to delivering high-quality care and fostering a supportive environment for both residents and staff.Your Role:As a Maintenance Gardener/Officer with Juniper, you will be responsible for providing general maintenance and gardening services to ensure the site remains functional, safe and presentable. Your role will also include general maintenance of grounds, buildings, fittings and equipment.The successful candidate will be offered a permanent position working Monday to Friday 30 hours per week.Key Responsibilities:Perform maintenance duties as required while ensuring economical and safe use of Junipers resourcesMaintains facilities in accordance with policies and strives to meet outcome standards related to the condition of the physical environmentRespects residents private property and their right to privacyMaintaining fixed assets using appropriate trade skills, tools or outside providers as necessaryApplies the principles of planned preventative maintenanceMaintains knowledge and skills in accordance with the required competencies of the positionEnsuring compliance with Occupational, Safety and Health requirements including appropriate Injury Risk ManagementKey Requirements:Trade qualification relevant to the construction and maintenance of buildings and equipment (desirable)Understanding of current OSH and legal requirementsA current C class WA drivers licenceSound experience in building maintenance and related areasAbility to prioritise workloads effectively without supervisionEffective time management and planning skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsWhy Join Us:Attractive rate of pay $40.09 p/h (including $10p/h Kimberley allowance) + 11.5% superAccess to salary sacrifice options up to $18,550 per annumHealth insurance discount with Medibank*or HBF*Accommodation provided at a subsidised rate*Non-profit, values-driven Western Australian aged care providerAccess to Juniperks-an online platform for retail discounts, employee perks and wellness initiativesFree parking on siteHow to Apply:Dont miss this opportunity to join a supportive team in a rewarding role!
