The Tweed Valley is a subtropical oasis encompassing the rugged terrain of Wollumbin National Park, arty riverside villages, historic coastal towns and is the gateway to the Gold Coast.The NNSWLHD Sexual Assault Service provides a 24-hour crisis response team for children, young people and adults who have experienced assault or attempted assault. The service also provides counselling and forensic medical assessment and care immediately after an assault and in the following weeks and months. Information and support are provided for non-offending parents, carers, partners, siblings or family members of children or adults who have been affected. We also provide follow up support, advocacy and information about the legal process, and consultation and advice to professionals.
