Nestled in the scenic farmlands of Harvey, just south of Perth, we blend a relaxed rural lifestyle with a strong commitment to responsible, forward-thinking practices.The Role:We have a full-time, permanent opportunity for a Work Health, Safety & Security Manager to join our team based at our processing facility in Harvey, WA.You will be critical in championing and managing the organisation''s work health and safety systems, programs and cultures across the processing facility to ensure compliance with legislative obligations, reduce risk and drive continuous improvement in safety performance.You will oversee the site''s security operations to protect people, assets and information ensuring a safe and secure working environment that supports business continuity and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Manage a small team of direct reports, to provide effective and comprehensive health and safety, and security services.Support the maintenance of and improvement opportunities within the Harvest Road Group Safety Management System, Standards and subsidiary system parts.Coordinate and manage high risk and consequence incident investigations utilising a formal investigation process such as ICAM.Preparing briefs for review on incidents for communication to regulator and the board.Provide support and specialist advice to the Project Management team on the delivery of contractor project works. Development and review of compliance documents for project scope.Communicate and engage with regulators and regulatory bodies in relation to WHS matters specific to processing operations.Provide wellbeing services (physical and psychosocial health) in line with company values and policies and legislative expectations utilising both internal and external resources.Oversee the injury management and allied health teams'' approach to management of return-to-work plans and operational requirementsConduct and support incident investigations using ICAM methodology.About You:Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (or relevant tertiary qualification).Current First Aid qualification.10+ years of experience in WHS roles.5+ years of experience managing small teams of professionals.Extensive experience within Injury Management and Workers Compensation.Experience in WHS compliance of small to medium operational construction projects.ICAM or equivalent experience.Experience in industrial or food processing environment.Experience in development and implementing health and safety systems.Join us in shaping the future of workplace safety at Harvest Road.What''s in it for you?Joining Harvest Road Group means becoming part of a dynamic and supportive team in a thriving industry!
