The Family Inclusive Counsellor will be a part of a specialist AOD multidisciplinary team based in Singleton and servicing the surrounding communities. Why youll like working with us:your voice will be valued and heard in our mission to support positive social changeyoull be part of a supportive, diverse, and inclusive environment where we celebrate individualityyoull have the opportunity to contribute to high standard of clinical practice.The successful candidate will have:Tertiary Qualification in Psychology, Counselling, Social Worker or related social science.Membership or eligibility for membership with a relevant professional body, e.g. PACFA, ACA, AASW or AHPRAAt least 2 years demonstrated experience in the area of AOD and mental healthKnowledge and experience in the provision of evidence based therapeutic services to the families and carers of people engaged in harmful use of AOD and the ability to apply a trauma-informed, culturally responsive and person-centred approach to these services.Excellent relationship, negotiation and conflict management skills with a proven ability to develop and maintain strong and effective relationships with service providers, staff, peers and key stakeholders in the local communityExperience in implementing and monitoring quality assurance processes across customer service programs, including feedback informed treatment, program review and risk management.We are proud to announce that we have received recognition as an accredited Great Workplace by WRK+.
