This hands-on leadership role involves guiding and supporting staff and supervisors to ensure operational excellence and achievement of key performance targets. Commercial acumen is essential, with a focus on monitoring competitor activity and patronage trends to drive informed business decisions. The Manager will work closely with the Area Operations Manager and senior leadership to optimise site performance and service delivery.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Leadership & Staff SupportSet clear objectives and expectations for on-site personnel in consultation with the Area Operations Manager (AOM).Provide clear direction, support, and feedback to staff, especially in performance and conduct matters.Establish defined reporting structures and ensure staff adherence to company policies, OH&S standards, and professional presentation.Deliver timely updates to AOM on site performance, staff matters, and key variances.Monitor and review staff performance, identifying training needs and development opportunities.Site Operations & PerformanceTake ownership of the day-to-day operation and overall performance of the car park site.Monitor site performance using data insights and address variances proactively.Ensure contractor compliance with OH&S and regulatory requirements for all site works.Liaise with clients regarding site reporting and service reviews.Maintain compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and company standards.Oversee OH&S risk assessments, monthly checklists, and safety documentation.Reporting & ComplianceProvide accurate and timely reports on site performance, budget variance, and operational metrics to AOM.Review and validate staff timesheets, investigate revenue anomalies, and ensure compliance with company reporting procedures.Action audit outcomes and provide input into forecasting and future infrastructure needs.Share market insights, trends, and OH&S risk exposures as needed.Training & DevelopmentDevelop and implement training programs for front-line parking staff across sites in consultation with the AOM.Facilitate induction, onboarding, and ongoing operational training, including customer service.Continuously review and enhance training content to meet operational needs.Collaborate with internal and external providers to deliver effective learning solutions.Support succession planning and staff development across all levels of site operations.ABOUT YOU:Knowledge, Skills & ExperienceLeadership & CommunicationCommunicates openly and effectively across all channels, both face-to-face and virtually.Demonstrates resilience and integrity when navigating challenging situations.Maintains composure under pressure and stays optimistic in the face of setbacks.Embraces ambiguity, seeking input and support when needed, and remains solution-focused.Adaptability & GrowthAdapts quickly to changing priorities and competing demands.Welcomes new ideas, calculated risks, and continuous learning opportunities aligned with personal and business goals.Stays open-minded during change and communicates concerns constructively.Execution & AccountabilityMakes sound, practical decisions and takes ownership of everyday issues.Plans and prioritises effectively to align with team goals and operational needs.Takes initiative, holds self accountable, and shows a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.Proactively seeks resources and support to drive performance and outcomes.Operational ExpertiseProven experience in a multi-site or large-scale operational environment, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or team management role within the Parking Industry (Required)Strong capability in facilities management, budgeting, cost control, and resource planning.Sound understanding of legislative frameworks including OH&S, Awards, and EBAs.QualificationsTertiary qualifications in business management, accounting, or a related field (desirable, not required).If you are interested in these opportunities, click on Apply and submit your resume today!At Wilson Parking, we are building a workforce that is representative of the community we protect.
