We aim to foster a culture where individuals of all backgrounds feel confident in bringing their whole selves to work, feel included, and their talents are nurtured, empowering them to contribute fully to our purpose.The RoleReports to: VP, Sales (APAC)Location: Fully Remote - Melbourne or Sydney (Preferred) / Brisbane (Considered)Comp: AU$200k-$250k (Base) + Variable + Growth Shares + Global iProov BenefitsWe are looking for an experienced Business Development Director to lead new business generation across Australia and New Zealand, focusing on:Federal GovernmentState Governments (AU)Private sector, with emphasis on Banking, Financial Services, and Digital Credential OpportunitiesThe role also includes account management responsibilities for the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), a long-term client of iProov.This is a quota-carrying individual contributor role, ideal for someone entrepreneurial, with a deep understanding of enterprise sales cycles and digital identity in regulated markets. Youll be part of iProovs global Revenue team and a critical driver of regional growth and strategic partnerships.How you can make an impactOwn and lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to close across Government and BFSI sectors in AU/NZStrategically manage and grow the ATO relationship, aligning with federal digital identity prioritiesMap the market, research opportunities, and build trusted relationships with stakeholders across public and private sectorsPosition iProov as a trusted partner to C-level, security, innovation, and procurement leadersCollaborate with global colleagues (product, pre-sales, marketing, legal) to drive regional successIdentify and engage local channel and alliance partners to support sales executionRepresent iProov at regional industry events, roundtables, and government forumsContribute to ANZ go-to-market strategy, pricing, and positioning based on market feedbackEnsure pipeline health and accurate forecasting via CRM and weekly revenue reviewsWhat we would like to see from youProven track record in enterprise sales within digital identity, cybersecurity, or compliance technologyDemonstrated success selling into AU/NZ Government (Federal and State) and regulated industries like Banking/Finance/TravelStrong understanding of AU/NZ procurement processes, government sales cycles, and compliance environmentsExceptional communicator with experience navigating complex stakeholder landscapesAbility to balance new business development with strategic account managementComfortable working autonomously while collaborating globally in a scale-up environmentExperience responding to RFPs, managing long-cycle deals, and influencing multi-million dollar outcomesWillingness to travel within AU/NZDesirable to enable a fast startExisting relationships across ANZ Government or BFSI networksFamiliarity with biometric authentication, AML/KYC, or identity assurance platformsExperience working with or within the Australian Public SectorUnderstanding of workforce identity or citizen access use casesOur Culture & Recruitment ProcessAt iProov, we''re incredibly proud of the culture we''ve carefully curated.
