Were proud to be the spirit of Australia, and were looking for people who share our passion for excellence and our commitment to safety, service and sustainability.As a Senior Commercial Analyst within QantasLink Engineering, youll play a key role in supporting the growth and commercial success of our regional engineering operations. This is a highly analytical and moderately technical role, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about driving commercial outcomes.Your New RoleSupport the design, negotiation and implementation of engineering contracts, including SLAs and KPIs.Conduct market research and supplier analysis to inform strategic decisions.Lead financial and performance analysis to support contract renegotiations and business improvement initiatives.Manage aspects of the RFP process, including documentation, stakeholder engagement and supplier evaluation.Provide competitor analysis and insights to inform strategic planning.Assist in the development and evaluation of business cases for ongoing initiatives and ad hoc projects.Ensure compliance with Qantas Group safety and governance policies, acting as a safety leader within the team.What Youll BringTertiary qualifications in Accounting, Business, Engineering or Finance.Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate financial concepts for non-financial audiences.Experience in procurement or a business background is advantageous.Aviation, airline, or aerospace industry experience will be highly regarded.Ability to evaluate strategic alternatives and present recommendations to senior stakeholders.A proactive, independent and collaborative approach to work, with a commitment to continuous improvement.Why Qantas?Youll join a team where creativity and passion are encouraged.
