Join our dynamic civil and earthmoving business as we expand our operations supporting major mining clients across Western Australia.POSITION OVERVIEWWe are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead our civil and earthmoving operations on a FIFO basis. This role offers exceptional career progression opportunities with a well-established contractor servicing major mining operations in the PilbaraKEY RESPONSIBILITIESLeadership & Management:Report directly to the General ManagerSupervise and lead a growing team of operators and supervisorsClient Relations & Business Development:Act as primary liaison between company and major mining clientsIdentify and pursue new opportunities on Mine sitesBuild and maintain strong client relationshipsDevelop project proposals and presentationsCritical Technical & Commercial:Cost and quote earthmoving projects using various equipmentManage complex civil and earthmoving operationsMaintain haul roads and transport infrastructureUtilize PolyCom road stabilization technologyEnsure optimal equipment utilization and productivityOperations Management:Oversee fleet operations including graders, rollers, watercarts, excavators, dozers, Moxy trucks, and diggersCoordinate project scheduling and resource allocationMonitor project progress and quality standardsESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTSExperience & Qualifications:Minimum 8-12 years experience in civil and earthmoving project managementExtensive experience with haul road construction and maintenance (critical)Extensive management skills with the ability to delegate and manager staff through your Supervisors.Demonstrated financial acumen and experience in costing and quoting earthmoving projects, controlling costs andbudgets and tendering.Proven experience with PolyCom road stabilization applicationsStrong background in mining/resources sector projectsCurrent White Card (Construction Induction) certificationValid driver''s license and ability to work in remote locationsTechnical Skills:Advanced knowledge of earthmoving equipment operationsExperience with graders, excavators, dozers, rollers, and articulated dump trucksHigh standard of Proficiency in project costing, budgeting, and financial managementKnowledge and Understanding of mining industry safety standards and complianceComputer literacy including project management softwareLeadership & Communication:Proven track record in team leadership and developmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong negotiation and client relationship management abilitiesAbility to make decisions under pressureCultural awareness and ability to work with diverse teamsPersonal Attributes:Results-driven with strong commercial acumenAdaptable and resilient in challenging environmentsHigh attention to detail and quality standardsCommitment to safety and environmental responsibilityWHAT WE OFFERCompetitive Package:Base salary: $180,000 -
