We firmly believe that our product ecosystem and portfolio of innovation set our brand apart.We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Sales & Merchandising to join Samsung Electronics Australia, where you will lead the national retail execution and sales function across all channels.This senior leadership role is responsible for driving sell-out performance, leading large cross-functional field team, and ensuring seamless in-store brand presence and execution. The successful candidate will combine strong commercial acumen, operational excellence, and a passion for retail to accelerate growth and enhance the customer experience across key consumer electronics retailers.You will play a critical role in leading and directing the State Managers, Merchandisers and Training Managers to bring the sales and retail strategy to life in-store, while developing advocacy and brand preference within retailers whilst driving sell-out across all retailers and assist with sell-in via proprietor owned retailers.Role And ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the delivery of the Consumer Electronics sell out sales target nationallyBringing the Retail Strategy to life through stand out store executionDevelop the respective states customers and business, providing assistance to dealers through planning sales levels in line with Samsung Australias management planDevelopment and execution of physical and e-learning retail training strategyCreate and deploy training and product information to RSPs to support the execution of new product launchesOptimise inventory management through the execution of strategies to support key metrics of dead inventory and slow run rate SKUsPoint of escalation for all field related matters both internally and externallySkills And QualificationsStrong experience in retail sales leadership, with a proven track record managing large, dispersed national teamsDemonstrated success in leading field execution, sales operations, and training across premium consumer electronics or FMCGExperience managing multiple layers of leadership, including state and area managers, merchandisers, and training teamsStrong capability in building and scaling sales and execution strategies aligned with business goalsPrevious accountability for national sales targets, retail program ROI, and partner engagement at executive levelWhat sets us apart from the rest?At The Heart Of Our DNA Is The Pursuit Of Excellence And Bringing Innovation To Everyone, Faster Than Anyone.
