This role offers the opportunity to manage a portfolio of prominent clients in the property, construction, and mining industries, including working with large Chinese SOEs. You will lead and inspire a team of dedicated auditing professionals, streamline divisional processes and procedures, and undertake complex, specialised projects. Meeting productivity and client budgets while delivering value-added services will be pivotal in this exciting position.Key Responsibilities:Manager of a portfolio of SW audit clientsLead, support, and provide resources to team members for maximum performancePlan and organise staff and resources to meet client and firm commitmentsIdentify and develop existing and potential business opportunitiesEvaluate long-term profitability/viability of clients and act accordinglyMeet Key Firm Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as team productivity, fees, write-offs, number of new clients, work in progress and DebtorsResearch, write, update and review sections of the firms publicationsKeep up to date with the latest changes and developments in Australian Auditing and Accounting Standards and apply and share this knowledgeCoordinate training sessions for Assistant Managers, Seniors, Intermediates, and GraduatesKey Skills and Experience:5 - 10 years experience working in an Assurance environment in a Chartered / CPA accounting practiceFully qualified CA/CPATechnical proficiency and current knowledge of auditing and accounting standards developmentsExcellent client relationship management skillsExcellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work and meet audit deadlines for multiple clientsStrong staff leadership skills and prior experience in managing a teamProfessional presentation and excellent interpersonal and communication skillsExperience with audit software packages and proficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsBest Kept Secrets of SW:Progressive firm, with excellent career opportunitiesFlexible working environment2 additional AL days per yearMatched time in liu when approved overtime is required18 weeks paid parental leave for primary carers and 3 weeks for non-primaryRefer to client and refer a friend bonus schemeEmployee Assistance Program and Wellness perks$1000 towards home office setupSocial ClubTailored Learning and Development ProgramPaid Course/study leave1 paid professional membership per yearWeekly lunch providedApply todayCreate your own individual story and become a part of ours.
