With the mantra Leave it with Uswe are invested in working together to make things happen.ABOUT THE ROLEOurOperations Managereffectively manages the day-to-day operational excellence of the site. More specifically the transport, customer liaison and functions relating to our vehicle, truck & machinery (T&M), and general goods auctions.This is a permanent, full-time role (Monday - Friday) located in Newcastle/Hexham NSW.Main responsibilities include:Successfully manage smooth team operation with weekly vehicle, monthly T&M and general auctionsManage and follow up online auctionsDetermine the best strategy to remarket assets to ensure return on monthly transport, detailing and repair costsEffectively liaise with multiple internal departmentsMaintain client relationships and complete regular client and vendor reportingRun advertising campaigns, coordinate auction estimates and valuationsAssist in the valuation of off-site valuations as requiredActively contact buyers to ensure all auction items have competitive biddingLiaise with Transport contractors to arrange collection of assets on behalf of clients, vendors & collection teamsFoster an informed, well-trained, proactive, and engaged WHS cultureABOUT YOUStrong interpersonal skills with a calm, confident and mature approachEngaging manner with all working relationships internally and externallyMotivated by operational efficiencies and improvementDevelops positive, constructive, and forward thinking working relationshipsStrong decision-maker, organised, strong attention to detailResponsive, time and deadline focusedConsistent focus on WHS and safety operationLogistics proficiency and sound knowledge of trucks, machinery, and plantProficient MS Office computer and internet research skillsCurrent drivers licence - HC and/or forklift licence desired but not essentialExperience in the Auction/ Valuation industry desired but not essentialWHAT''S IN THE PACKAGEWe offer onsite parking, fully stocked pantry, weekly team Friday lunches, EAP program, development opportunities & assistance, novated lease option and superannuation salary sacrifice.APPLY NOW!If you think you would thrive in this role and would love an opportunity to work with us, feel invited to APPLY.
