Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay rangeA$217,997.00/yr - A$242,100.00/yrDirector, Audit, Risk and Safety, SEB 1, Ongoing, SydneyThis role is a salary SEB 1, with the base salary for this role starting at TRP $217,997 - $242,100 including superannuation, commensurate with experience.Join INSW and play your part in creating a sustainable infrastructure legacy for NSW!About the RoleInfrastructure NSW (INSW) is seeking a strategic and experienced leader to join our Corporate Services team as Director, Audit, Risk and Safety. This is a pivotal role responsible for leading the agencys governance, risk, compliance and safety functions, ensuring high standards of integrity, accountability, and performance across the organisation.As Director, Audit, Risk and Safety, you will:Lead the strategic direction and delivery of the agencys risk management framework and corporate governance arrangements to ensure the timely identification and mitigation of business risks, a robust assurance regime and compliance with public sector policy and standards.Support the Executive to uphold risk-based, ethical decision making through expert governance advice and analytical support that ensures alignment with integrity and governance standards.Maintain an accurate and up-to-date view of key risks and ensure timely implementation of improvements that strengthen risk management and organisational performance.Support and enable the Audit and Risk Committee in providing independent oversight that strengthens INSWs integrity, enhances strategic risk management and supports external accountability obligations in accordance with the Committees Charter.Coordinate the input to production of INSWs Annual Report to ensure timely, insightful and compliant reporting in collaboration with key stakeholders.About You:You are a collaborative and forward-thinking leader with:Professional Certification of Certified Practicing Risk Manager (CPRM) from Risk Management Institute of Australasia (RMIA) or Member of Governance Institute of Australia (e.g. AGIA or FGIA).Extensive experience at a senior/executive level managing enterprise risk and safety including experience managing an internal audit program, implementing risk management frameworks, governance frameworks, compliance and assurance functions and related processes.Deep knowledge of ISO 31000, relevant legislation, and public sector governance frameworks.Proven ability to influence, lead change, and foster a culture of integrity and accountability.Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to provide authoritative advice across all levels.If this sounds like you, wed love to hear from you.
