The organisation is well placed to continue shaping the future of the automotive industry in WA and nationally through relationships with other state and national industry bodies.The RoleBased in Perth, this exceptional opportunity will see the Group CEO drive MTA WA through strategic progression with significant focus on advocacy and government relations. You will take the lead role in shaping the future of the automotive industry in WA through active membership support and engagement, innovative workforce training and development and dynamic policy engagement, lobbying, and stakeholder influence at State and Federal levels.This high-profile role encompasses forging strategic relationships with Ministers, government departments, and regulators, alongside spearheading strategic leadership aligned with industry needs. You will lead media engagement, oversee operations, and energise a high-performing team, maintaining financial sustainability.About YouMTA WA seeks a mission-driven leader with proven government relations and public affairs expertise at State and Federal levels, combined with executive experience in a stakeholder-rich environment. Commercial leadership experience in similarly complex organisations is essential, along with demonstrated business growth and operational complexity.The successful candidate will be an authentic communicator with political astuteness and capability to shape policy outcomes.
