Today, the Shire has a significant farming-based industry that contributes nationally.About The PositionNarromine Shire Council are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced applicant for the position of Team member Roads.The objective of this position is to effectively and safely operate Councils plant to carry out pavement construction and maintenance in a safe and efficient manner to a standard which provide safe road surfaces for the travelling public.To safely and competently operate Council plant and equipment in accordance with manufacturers specifications and Council Procedures.To promote and maintain a positive image of Council to the community.To be successful in this position you will need to have:Class MR Drivers LicenceGeneral Construction Induction (CIC - White Card) NSWIt Will Be Desirable For You To HaveExperience and competency operating a backhoe, front end loader and graderSound working knowledge of construction techniques and principlesProficient written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work in a team environmentTraffic Control Combo Traffic Controller & Implement Traffic Control Guidance PlansChainsaw Certification Crosscut & TrimFirst Aid CertificateHR LicenceThe Details Relating To This Position AreThe position is graded 4 within Council''s salary structureThe salary range is from $56,712 - $63,988 per annum plus superannuation. The salary step is determined by an annual competency assessment.38 hour working week applies.
