The storeperson position is a vital position within Perioperative Services to meet the demands and care for our patients,The Role Is To EnsureThe management and ordering of inventory required for the service and to ensure turnover and management of consumables in a timely and efficient manner. This position is to ensure appropriate stock rotation and stock take as required and effective communication with the leadership team regarding consignment stock and management of loan items.hTrak, Oracle and Microsoft office experience required.Experience working within a health care facility..Ability to work both autonomously and as a team.This position will be for leave relief as required.What You''ll Be DoingThe storeperson will be required to order, receive and distribute inventory and non-inventory items throughout the Perioperative suite of Liverpool Hospital. To manage just in time ordering and to ensure stock on hand is available. To effectively utilize storage locations and ensure turnover and management of consumables meet policy directives.Where You''ll Be WorkingLiverpool Hospital, founded in 1813, is the major health service for south-western Sydney, providing services to the local government area of Liverpool City Council as well as district services to residents and visitors in the area. It also provides a range of state-wide services in areas such as critical care and trauma, neonatal intensive care and brain injury rehabilitation.The Hospital provides a health service of international standing, with 23 operating theatres, capacity for 877 beds, diagnostic and imaging services, emergency and trauma care, maternity, paediatric, cancer care, mental health, ambulatory care, allied health and medical and surgical services from birth to aged care.Liverpool Hospital is currently undergoing a major redevelopment.
