Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager at our manufacturing site, you will be working Monday to Friday on the afternoon roster (2pm-10pm) assisting with general maintenance and breakdown work.Ideally, the successful applicant will be required to have a manufacturing or Building background, Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificate or Boilermaker Certificate, have good attendance and have a strong awareness and regard for health, safety and the environment.Duties & ResponsibilitiesComplete planned maintenance tasks.Fault diagnosis and breakdown repairs.General machiningComplete repairs or modifications as requested by your Supervisor.Mechanical Fitting, maintenance related to conveyors, strappers,Kiln rails, extruder,bricks handling machinery ,conveyors, bearings rollers etc.Fabrication-Simple stick and MiG weldingCompetence in WeldingMachine tools - Occasional use of milling machine, lathe and pedestal drill.Exposure to HydraulicsStrong Safety standards. Conversant in Take 2, JSEA Safety tools.Maintain safe work & operating practices; and maintain a high standard of housekeeping.What Is On OfferWe strive to support your professional and personal growth.
