Join a dynamic and growing organisation supporting exciting projects across Queensland.About The RoleReporting to the Operations Manager QLD, with the support of a dedicated LC Scheduler, youll play a key role in conducting detailed site investigations to support engineering and construction outcomes. Your work will be vital in assessing soil conditions, performing risk assessments, and delivering high-quality site reports.What Youll DoReview and prepare daily job schedulesConduct site risk assessments and site photo documentationDrill boreholes using a 4WD-mounted rig and log soil profiles to industry standards (AS2870-2011)Perform Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) tests and soil strength assessmentsCollect and send soil samples for laboratory testingAssess site wind ratings (AS4055) and prepare detailed site drawingsCompile and submit electronic site investigation reports dailySupport lab testing activities such as shrink/swell and salinity testingMaintain company vehicle and equipment standardsAssist with additional tasks such as Screw Pier installations as requiredAbout You:Strong attention to detail and commitment to safetyProven ability to work independently and as part of a teamFlexibility and willingness to take initiative in a growing company environmentAbility to adapt and contribute to cross-functional teamsGood communication and reporting skillsRelevant experience in site investigation or geotechnical field work preferredWhy Join?Stable Monday to Friday daytime hours with opportunity for overtimeSupportive team environment with ongoing development opportunitiesOpportunity to contribute to continuous process improvements and innovationA role that encourages ownership, responsibility, and personal growthIf you are ready to bring your skills to a company that values flexibility, innovation, and initiative, apply now!
