Serving our wonderful residents, guests, and visitors, this role offers the chance to manage a vibrant caf space that delivers quality, connection and care.What Youll DoIn this hands-on leadership role, you will:Oversee the daily operations of the caf, ensuring smooth service from open to closeLead a small team, setting high standards for customer care and food presentationDevelop the caf offering to suit the needs and tastes of our residents and visitorsManage food orders, costs, and stock rotation, ensuring compliance with food safety standardsCoordinate functions and special events within the village in collaboration with the Village ManagerOnboard and train new staff, promoting a culture of service excellenceWork with the Village Manager to deliver marketing and event plans that drive caf patronageFoster a warm, inclusive, and community-oriented caf environmentWhat You BringExperience as a Caf Manager or in a similar hospitality leadership roleKnowledge of Food Handling Legislation, including HACCP requirementsA passion for customer service and building relationships with regular patronsA Diploma in Hospitality Management (preferred but not essential)General computer literacy and confident communication skillsA current Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)Availability to work Wednesday to Sunday, as per the hours aboveA positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work with minimal supervisionWhy Join Us?At RSL LifeCare, were proud to support veterans and seniors across NSW and the ACT.
