POSITION SUMMARYThe Human Resources (HR) Advisor at Pia will provide support, coordination, advisory, and administration to deliver a full range of HR services to the business.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESRecruitment -Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including support position description development, appropriate paperwork and approvals; development of advertisements, assisting with candidate interviews as required, and completing the credentialing process.Manage the hr@pia.ai email address.Onboarding -Ensure that the employee on-boarding experience of new employees to Pia is adhered to and employees are inducted and oriented appropriately. (Including offer of employment, new start packs, induction, and probation)Support to Managers and staff -Assist all employees on employment-related matters, including leave management and interpretations of the Pia Enterprise Agreement, Awards, Agreements, and conditions of employment.Provide HR advice in employee relations and performance management matters.Contract and Data Management -Manage the contracting process for the Pia workforce.Support the establishment and implementation of an electronic HR Information System for workforce data.Maintain excellent HR records, including the documentation of all HR issues.Accurate and timely collation of data for HR metrics and monthly reporting.Offboarding -Manage the exit processes for employees (including liaising with payroll and IT, exit interviews, and required notice periods).Ensure allocation of Pia assets are recorded and updated within their personnel files via the asset register, and the returns process is completed before termination payments are processed by payroll.Other duties -Contribute to the development and review of HR Policies and Procedures.Model and demonstrate constructive working relationships and information exchange within the team and across the organization.Support the broader HR team as required, including leave coverage, workload support and other project initiatives to achieve the HR strategy.Other duties consistent with the position where required and/or requested by the executive team of the business.POSITION COMPETENCIESDemonstrates duty of care, considers own safety and the safety of others while at work.Complies with WHS guidelines and procedures.Promotes and encourages personal growth and effective communication.Continually contributes to and supports all staff members across the organization.Regularly meets with Managers to discuss performance, plans, and current issues.Exercises initiative in making improvements to work processes and outcomes.Always searches for better ways and strives for best practice.Embraces and adapts to change.POSITION QUALIFICATIONSA tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business, Management, or a related discipline [a bachelor''s or master''s degree in HR is preferred].POSITION EXPERIENCE REQUIREDExperience in a HR based role for 2-3 years.Proven ability to interpret and apply Enterprise Agreements and/or other industrial agreements, providing advice to management and employees.Understanding of the application of policies and procedures.A proactive professional with strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach.Able to work with a broad range of people from varying backgrounds.Able to show initiative within a team environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.High level of attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multitask.An understanding of and complete commitment to confidentiality.Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.POSITION EXPERIENCE DESIREDExperience working in the HR and IT industry.
