We offer quality personalised care, encouraging clients to maintain their independence, while catering for their social, physical and spiritual needs.About the roleThe Support Worker provides personalised support to clients appropriate to their needs, goals and aspirations. Services may be provided to clients in their home or the community. This may include, but is not limited to, shopping, personal care, domestic assistance, transport, meal preparation and social activities.This is a great opportunity for anyone who genuinely wants to make a difference & is passionate about improving quality of life for older Australians.About youCertificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care is highly regarded but not necessary for entry level positionsFirst Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain prior to employmentprevious experience working with older people, including people who have dementia and/or complex needs desirable but not essentialhas empathy for older people within the communitywants to bring joy to someones life while providing a meaningful servicewants an opportunity to begin career and grow within the Community Services Sectorwell-developed communication and interpersonal skillsability to work effectively independently and in a team environmentunderstanding of WH&S issues and risk managementCOVID vaccination (minimum of 2 doses)comprehensively insured & registered motor vehicle and current NSW drivers licencethose speaking a second language are encouraged to applyRemunerationSalary and employment conditions are in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010 as a Home Care employee, dependent on existing qualifications. Casual leave loading (25%) as applicable.
