We ensure Albury is a great place to live, work and invest.Qualifications & experienceCertificateIIIinWaterIndustry Operationsorrelevant trade qualification or equivalent relevant experienceClass C (standard) Driver''s Licence (compulsory to have & maintain)Relevantexperienceinthewaterandwastewatertreatment industryExperienceinthemaintenanceofmechanicalequipment within the industryExperienceintheuseoftreatment chemicals.Tasks & responsibilitiesOperateandmaintainwaterandwastewatertreatmentfacilitiesas directed, including taking corrective action in response to test results and operating issues.Performroutine plantinspectionandundertakemaintenance activities as required to maintain operating reliability of the treatment facilities.Performroutinemaintenanceactivitiesassociatedwiththe facilitiesgrounds and buildings.Use, handle and store chemicals in accordance with relevant WH&S, and AlburyCity requirements and ensure that chemical dosingisundertakeninanefficientandeffectivemannertomeet plant processes and effluent quality requirements.Assistwiththeconstructionandcommissioningonnewassets.Undertakesample collection,testingandanalysistomonitorand manage treatment plant operations.HoursBased on 38-hour week, working 38 hours across a 7-day spread, with actual days and times being worked in accordance withfacilitiesrosters withanRDOinaccordancewithAlburyCitys RDO guidelines.
