Be advised, this role is referred to as Waste Operator within Council.About YouCertificate III in Waste Management, or 12+ months relevant experience, or willingness to complete the courseProven Year 10 level literacy/numeracy with ability to complete forms, data entry, and basic cashieringCurrent NSW White Card (Construction Induction Certificate)Class C Drivers Licence or higherExperience operating facilities in line with safety and EPA guidelinesWeighbridge Operations Statement of Attainment, or willingness to obtainWhat We OfferFull Time, 38 hours per week, with a Salary from $60,120 to $67,546 per year (depending on qualifications, skills and experience) plus 11.5% superannuation and access to a 9 day Fortnight system.40% discount on yearly Aquatic and Fitness Centre membership for staff and families at local facility (conditions apply)Access to EAP program for employees and their immediate familyAbout MuswellbrookMuswellbrook Shire Council is a progressive local government area, located under two hours from Newcastle and Tamworth and three hours from Sydney, in the beautiful Upper Hunter Valley.The Shire has a long history in energy generation and is one of the largest coal mining areas in Australia.
