The Executive Assistant will perform a wide range of administrative duties including office management, executive assistance, maintaining a regional events calendar, report writing, presentations and communication skills, as well as interfacing effectively with internal and external stakeholders and customers.This role supports the underlying Mission of Catholic Education in the Diocese of Lismore by delivering services that contribute to enabling students to achieve the fullness of life.Work RequirementsA current/valid Australian Drivers Licence and eligibility to work within Australia for the period of the appointmentCompliance with Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead as prescribed by the Bishops of NSW, or working towards accreditation at the appropriate level upon commencement.A cleared National Police Check, or ability to obtain if the successful candidate.QualificationsCertificate IV in Business Administration, or similar preferred.Work ExperienceAt least 5 years in a busy office environment, preferably within an assisting role to a senior executive together with experience in inter-department coordination.Key CapabilitiesExcellent written skills, with the ability to prepare a wide range of communications including correspondence, presentations, memorandums, reports, briefing papers etc.Effective verbal communication, including consultation and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of staff (in particular senior leaders).Outstanding organisational skills, work planning and time management, with the ability to work to defined deadlines, to prioritise, remain calm under pressure and focused.
