If you enjoy problem solving, and working across different equipment and machinery we are interested in talking to you.We are seeking a reliable Timber Mill Operator to join our team based at our Narooma site on a permanent basis. You will be involved with a range of duties including stacking, docking, strapping and grading of timber products, with other tasks such as operating a bench and edger and also the potential for dispatching duties for the right candidate.This is a day shift position working a condensed 4 day week. Monday to Thursday (9.5 Hours per day with 6am starts).Key Responsibilities IncludeOngoing work with timber including grading, stacking, sorting and strapping.Ad-hoc plant duties to ensure the smooth running of our Narooma operations.Inventory managementContinually maintaining a clean and tidy work area.About YouYou will have a strong commitment to safety in the workplace.Previous experience in manufacturing or manual handling is highly desirable.A positive attitude is essential.You must be reliable, punctual and have a focus on the quality of your work.Have demonstrated experience of successfully working in a team.We are seeking someone who is physically fit and is able manually handle various sized timber sections.In Return, We OfferSecure, permanent work on an ongoing basis.Competitive hourly rate.Opportunities to grow your current skills, knowledge, and career.A supportive team and positive work environment.Please note that all employees are required to undertake a drug and alcohol test, Police Check and complete pre-employment Medical Assessments before commencing employment and have the right to work in Australia (we are unable to provide sponsorship).Join us and become a vital part of our mission.
