With over 150 years of experience, we''ve been a trusted presence in the lives of Queenslanders for generations.We are currently seeking to hire a Philanthropy Manager to join our Fundraising and Events team on a full time permanent basis.Reporting to the Head of Fundraising and working cross functionality with the fundraising, communications and marketing teams, the Philanthropy Manager will drive income generation to support Anglicare Southern Queensland (Anglicare) to achieve its mission through the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of Anglicare''s major gift, mid-level and bequest donors.This role will have a focus on growing the major gift, bequest and mid-level giving programs and supporting the Head of Fundraising and Executive Leadership Team on major income generating campaigns including capital campaigns.Your duties and responsibilities will include:In collaboration with the Head of Fundraising, develop and execute Anglicare''s Major Gift, Mid-level and Bequest strategiesCollaborate with the Head of Fundraising and Executive Leadership Team on revenue opportunities identified for the Major Gift and Capital Campaign programsDevelop and deliver an exceptional donor experience at all times, for existing and prospective donors, as well as their next of kinIdentify, cultivate and steward relationships with major gift, mid-level giving and bequest donors and prospectsEnsure the voice of supporter is considered in all communication touch pointsRespond to donor inquiries and build relationships with supporters and gift facilitatorsSupport events and other initiatives in fundraising as appropriateEnsure continuous improvement through regular research and keep abreast of industry trends, standards, practices, benchmarking and competitorsExperience and qualificationsTertiary qualifications in fundraising, philanthropy and/or related disciplineA minimum of 5 years'' experience in fundraising, preferably within Gifts in Wills or Major Gift programsDemonstrated ability in developing and implementing strategic fundraising programsProven track record in achieving fundraising targets and securing, Bequests, Major Gifts and In Memory donationsStrong interpersonal and relationship building skills with the capacity to influence, negotiate and problem solveAdvanced research, writing and communication skills with excellent attention to detailSuccessful candidates will also need to provide a Blue Card, Drivers Licence and National Police Check.How to ApplyIf this role sounds like you, please click on the apply button and follow the prompts.
