If you are applying for CGO training, this year provides a suitable pre-selection opportunity.Selection Criteria:Seeking a future career in gynaecological oncology or advanced surgical skills for complex gynaecologyNSW Medical Board Registration or eligibilityPre-FRANZCOG certification (year 5-6)Clinical and research experience, preferably with gynaecological cancer patientsKnowledge of complex gynaecological procedures and ability to perform advanced cancer surgeries under supervisionGood verbal and written communication skillsStrong organisational skillsAbility to work within a multidisciplinary teamCommitment to patient-centred, holistic, evidence-based careAbility to mentor and teach junior team membersDedication to patient safety and mandatory training completionPosition Responsibilities:Manage the medical and surgical care of gynaecological oncology patients, including supervision of peritonectomy patients in collaboration with the RPA gastrointestinal surgery team, approximately 1-2 days per week.Participate in teaching registrars, residents, and medical students.Initiate and complete a research project related to gynaecological cancer.Contribute to the development of the hospital as a tertiary referral centre.Work in private practice clinics up to one day per week.Assist in surgery at Prince of Wales Private Hospital every second Saturday, remunerated at fee-for-service rates, included as part of salary. #J-18808-Ljbffr
