Then you have the magic to be Team Merlin at SEA LIFE Melbourne!About the RoleWe are seeking a full time Maintenance Technician to join the SEA LIFE team. The role will be predominately daytime hours, however, due to the attraction operating 7 days a week, some weekend work will be necessary, along with participating in an on-call roster.Working with the Head of Technical Services, your role is to ensure all aspects of building are in good working order to smooth business operations. This includes:Assisting with the day-to-day maintenance, including repairs and maintenance of Life Support Systems and all building systemsTest and Tag to AS3760, as well as maintaining the databasePerforming diagnostics and repairing small refrigeration systems.Performing repair, general and preventative maintenance work of facilities, buildings, grounds, and equipment including, mechanical, carpentry and plumbing tasks.Resolving building alarms, both onsite and remotely.Assist with contractor and supplier management.About YouYou will be highly self-motivated with the experience in building maintenance.Holding an A grade Electrician licence alongside Australian cabler registration is considered advantageous but not required.This is a fast paced, guest facing environment no two days are the same - so the ability to think on your feet, problem solve and use your initiative will be key in this role.You are a strong communicator and are able to build rapport across the business.
