More than 1000 people choose to work at Fronditha Care, caring for elders across our 5 residential facilities in Melbourne and Newcastle, in their homes and in the community, across metropolitan Melbourne.Presently, our Facility is seeking motivated, experienced Food Service Assistants and cleaners to join the team on a casual basis.RequirementsUndertake cleaning schedules for Food Service areas.Notify cook/chef of any changes to menu or issues relating to service delivery.Clean dishes, including loading and unloading dishwashersMeet care recipients needs and choice on an ongoing basis in relation to food preparation, presentation and delivery.Carrying food trays from food trolley to resident''s bedManually handling supplies, stores and food items in and out of cool room and storage roomsCleaning all areas in the facility as specified on cleaning schedulesEnsure all cleaning equipment is used according to instructions and always clean and fully functionalReporting any dysfunctional equipment as soon as possibleReporting of any hazards when identifiedundertake stock control by monitoring quality of chemicals and report any problemsTo succeed in this role, you will need to meet the following criteria, but not limited to:Certificate in Food HandlingFood preparation and presentationKnowledge of Occupational Health & Safety requirementsSummaryWhy choose Fronditha Care?Fronditha Care is driven by our ethos of providing a Bounty of Care that extends to our clients and employees.
