Learn to safely drive and operate one of our Rural Linemarking Services fleet of Linemarking machines. Assist with team set-up, pack-up and de-canting for the Linemarking machines. Take an active role in providing mobile traffic control for all Linemarking activities, including driving light vehicles. Support Work Supervisors and Team Leaders in the application of all quality, safety, and environmental processes to ensure TfNSW policies are met. Be prepared to spend up to 80% of the working year living away from your home base. Be provided training to allow you to meet the challenges and requirements of the role.Whether its a routine delineation maintenance project or a special line mark program, you will be required to carry out all activities associated with the safe operation of Linemarking machines and complete associated traffic control support, labouring and driving tasks.You will work a 9-Day Fortnight in this role.This is a fixed term full-time role (up to 27 February 2026) located at Wagga Wagga.TfNSW take the WH&S and the management of fatigue of our employees seriously, we are therefore seeking candidates that reside within a 100-kilometre distance from the Wagga Wagga Depot and are prepared to work away from home on a regular basis.Please view role description here.About youWe are looking for a reliable and motivated team-oriented individual who has a strong drive to increase their skill set with on-the-job training, and external training provided.You will be willing to work outside regular working hours, attend callouts (where needed) and be prepared to travel extensively throughout the state, including away from your home location on a regular basis.Youll need to have:- A current NSW Drivers Licence- A current Construction Industry White Card- The ability and willingness to undertake labouring tasks, work as a team, and communicate effectively with staff, community, and external providers.- The ability and willingness to undertake training to receive certification in SafeWork NSWs WH&S Traffic Control Work tickets.Our works are undertaken in close proximity to traffic, so you will have very high regard for the safety of yourself, your team, and members of the public at all times.Holding a current Medium Rigid (MR) Truck Licence, Forklift licence and/or relevant traffic control tickets will be highly regarded, but not essential.Who we areTransport for NSW provides a safe, integrated, and efficient transport system.
