Due to internal career progression, we are ready to take the next leap forward.We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join us as Head of Talent initially on an 18-month contract to drive this exciting next phase of our talent journey. Based in Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane and working within a flexible hybrid model, you will lead a passionate national Talent team committed to collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement. You will nurture the positive team culture while driving strategic talent sourcing and partnering opportunities whist continuing to drive process improvement and delivering on high quality, best practice talent acquisition services.Reporting directly to the National Director People and Talent Services, you will be central to delivering on our One St Vincent''s approach and strategy, fostering connection and cooperation across states and teams to build upon our unified, agile and impactful talent function.At St Vincent''s, compassion, connection and care are at the heart of all we do. We want an authentic leader who is ready to be actively involved by working collaboratively with our many internal stakeholders and identifying future opportunities to address the future of health sector workforce challenges.Experience We''re Looking For:Proven leadership managing national or multi-state talent acquisition teams within a large complex service industryExpertise in strategic, recruitment-focused workforce planning, sourcing and high-volume recruitmentStrong knowledge and practical experience with recruitment technologies, including automation and strategic sourcingDemonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion, including leadership of Indigenous recruitment initiatives aligned with our Reconciliation Action PlanExperience collaborating with executive and senior leaders to embed sourcing strategies that align with organisational values and missionA track record delivering measurable impact through innovation and people leadershipIn this pivotal role, you will oversee the continued centralisation and optimisation of recruitment functions across multiple states. You will collaborate closely with senior leaders to shape recruitment driven workforce planning, embed diversity and inclusion strategies, and leverage technology to enhance efficiency and impact.
