Experience the rewards of making a difference in older peoples lives by showing compassion and care.The opportunityThe Royal Freemasons community is looking for experienced and motivated Food Services Assistant to join our team at Centennial Lodge Residential Aged Care Facility in Wantirna.The Hospitality Assistant is responsible for the safe provision of quality food and beverage services to our residents, ensuring the individual nutritional requirements and preferences of each resident are met. This role is also essential in supporting the overall well-being of residents by creating an enjoyable dining experience to support residents to take pleasure in, and consume, their meals.Key Responsibilities IncludeMaking sure that the dining rooms are well kept, tables are neatly presented.Preparation, serving, presentation and delivery of food and beverages in accordance with the Food Safety Program.Ensuring that the correct food and beverages are served to each resident according to their dietary/specialised nutritional requirements.Ensure a high standard of customer service, always including presenting in a professional manner when interacting with residents during meal services.Key RequirementsIt is a mandatory requirement when working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Clearance or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Clearance, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of this role.All Aged Care workers are encouraged to be vaccinated against Covid-19 (3 vaccines) and to receive the Flu-Vaccine, all successful applicants will be required to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination prior to commencement.Food Handling CertificateBenefitsMore take-home pay with competitive salary packaging options up to $15,990, Novated leasing, plus an optional Meals and Entertainment card up to $2,650 per annumConfidential access to our Employee Assistance ProgramFree onsite parkingWhy work for Royal Freemasons?We are an established and highly regarded Not-for-Profit provider of Aged Care Services across the Residential, Home Care and Retirement Living sectors.
