Provide first response services to traffic incidents as Motorcycle Incident Response Officer on our Transurban contract covering Brisbane Network (motorways and tunnels).Whats on Offer$95,375.38 TFR (inclusive of super)Monday to Friday (plus extra un-rostered hours available paid at overtime rates)Permanent full time with 5 weeks annual leave per yearRegular training, development and upskilling providedAccess to a variety of Health and Wellness initiatives - including the EAP, Ventia''s Healthy Minds program and Healthy Bodies programEmployee benefits such as corporate travel discounts, Novated leases, private health discounts, credit discounts and moreAbout the RoleYou will be required to work Monday to Friday, morning (05h00 13h00) and afternoon shifts (13h00 21h00) Your shifts commence at Stretton, Murarrie and Bowen Hills. Duties include -First responder to traffic incidents / breakdowns along major roads and highways including the AirportlinkM7, Clem7, Legacy Way, Inner City Bypass, Go Between Bridge and the Gateway and Logan MotorwaysSupport our Situational Incident Response Officers where applicableWork towards the safety of your team, road users and other related parties whilst engaging in conflict resolution and managing critical incidentsEnsure optimum safe lane availability and relay up-to-date information to the public, supervisors, and the wider response teamOperate a range of vehicles to assist with all aspects of civil maintenance support (including 4WD utility, attenuator truck and tow trucks)Work closely with emergency services and as well as provide road trauma first aid and small compartmental firefighting when required and safe to do soEmergency make safe activities for road network restoration and to return the roads to normal operational conditionMandatory requirements for this roleMotorcycle and MR drivers licence (zero court cancellations or suspensions)Be highly experienced in motor cycle operationsConstruction white cardMust be able to work both day and night shiftStrong communication and problem-solving abilitiesLevel headed and calm when working under pressure with strong self-awarenessIncident management experience (minimum 5 years)Must hold full working rights in Australia.About VentiaVentia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand.
