You will also support and mentor members of the team, taking on a true leadership role at the firm. Day-to-day duties will involve:Managing the current team and strategising future growth.Providing expert advice on family law matters (including complex property and children''s matters).Drafting advice, court documents and correspondence to clients, solicitors and other stakeholders.Attending client conferences, mediations and trials.Skills & ExperienceYou will have extensive experience in family law (including property and children''s matters), and bring:the ability to mentor and lead lawyers in a team.post-admission experience as a Senior Associate, Special Counsel or Partner in Family Law.experience appearing and instructing Counsel on matters.Drive to step-in to a true leadership position.Strong drafting, communication and advocacy skills.While the firm is based on the Gold Coast, they are also open to candidates who need to be based in Brisbane or interstate.A transparent framework around path to Partnership (for Senior Associates and Special Counsel), and path to equity (for Partners).Tailored training and development around leadership and strategy to give you the skills to be successful.Work life balance flexibility.Onsite car park provided.Our client and their cultureOur client is an award-winning commercial firm based on the Gold Coast.
