With Mercy, you''ll have the chance to make an impact and gain experience that''s hard to find elsewhere.At Mercy Health, it''s all about taking what we have and making it better.To do that, we need you.Join us at Mercy Health, and help our teams deliver even greater outcomes.About the opportunityIt is an exciting time to join the Executive Leadership Team at Mercy Health as we grow our reach and impact of our Health and Healthy Ageing services.Reporting to the Group Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Director Mission, Communications & Stakeholder Relations provides leadership and direction to Executive, Board, and Leadership Teams on their responsibility to understand the Christian ministry of healthcare, the ethos of service and the charism that continues to inspire the Sisters of Mercy and the guiding philosophy and theology of the Catholic Church.This role ensures that "how we do things" consistently reflects "who we are" as a faith-based organisation.In addition, the Executive Director coordinates, develops and implements communication, industry and community relations, advocacy and stakeholder relations programs and strategic plans.The Executive Director leads the mission and communications team comprising of 5 direct reports, to include an Executive Assistant, and 25 indirect reports.What you''ll bringWe are seeking a proven senior executive with the experience and capabilities to uphold our enduring identity as a mission-centred, values-based organisation, guided by a defined code of ethics that informs a compassionate and respectful approach to care.You will also hold significant experience of leading and executing communication strategies and in managing senior level government and public sector relationships.To thrive in this role, you will hold extensive experience and demonstrated competency in:A deep understanding of Catholic theology and its application to daily practice with a highly developed capacity to promote the Mission and Values of Mercy Health within the framework of the Catholic Church.Leading the design, development, implementation, review, and evaluation of strategic, tactical and operational communications and stakeholder engagement plans, programs, projects and initiatives to align with organisational strategic plans.Influencing positive organisational culture change to drive engagement, vision and purpose.Translating complex and evolving information into engaging and compelling narrative.Mapping internal audiences, communications systems and identifying new/existing technology and tools to best utilise them.Mentoring Executives in the use of professional communications to effectively apply multimedia management strategies.Tertiary qualifications in Catholic Theology, Ministry and Communication, Marketing, Journalism or other relevant discipline.A post Graduate tertiary qualification in Catholic Theology, Ministry or related studies such as ethics.Ready to help us shape the future of healthcare?Join us and make a meaningful difference in people''s lives - and your career.Are you ready to apply for this role?
