Our Northern division operates five beef processing plants across Queensland and Northern NSW, producing more than 400,000 tonnes of beef products every year.Located in Ipswich in South East Queensland, the JBS Dinmore Plant is the largest beef processing facility in the southern hemisphere. The plant employs approximately 2,000 team members with a processing capacity of 3,400 head of cattle per day.About the RoleWe are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Facilities Labourer to join our team in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our site facilities and infrastructure are maintained to the highest standards to support safe and efficient operations.Your key responsibilities will include:Carrying out routine inspections, maintenance and repairs of buildings, fixtures, and infrastructurePerforming preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend the life of equipment and facilitiesResponding to maintenance requests in a timely manner to minimise disruptions to productionSupporting compliance with food safety, health & safety and industry regulationsAssisting with general upkeep including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and minor electrical tasksWorking collaboratively with other maintenance and operations staff to maintain a safe and efficient siteAbout YouPrevious experience in building or facilities maintenanceExperience in the meat or food industry highly regardedKnowledge of basic trades (plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, refrigeration or mechanical)Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectivelyStrong commitment to safety and compliance standardsFlexibility to work in a fast-paced environmentA team player with a positive and proactive approachWhy work for JBS Australia?Competitive salary and benefits packageAccess to heavily discounted JBS productsOpportunity to work with a global leader in the meat industryCollaborative and dynamic work environmentProfessional development and growth opportunitiesInterested?
