Coriole Vineyards Restaurant is part of a well-known and highly respected family-owned business that values exceptional service and excellent food.Our mission is to serve delicious, creative dishes which respect the seasonality of produce we source from the Estate and regional producers, while minimising waste and promoting sustainable practices.We have an established, talented and hard-working restaurant team and are seeking an experienced and dedicated Restaurant Venue Manager to join our fast-paced environment.This is a hands-on leadership role where youll oversee daily operations and work alongside your team to ensure we deliver an exceptional hospitality experience for every guest.As a key member of our leadership team, youll work closely with the Coriole Restaurant Head Chef to balance outstanding food and service with strong financial performance. Youll be both on the floor and behind the scenes.This is a full-time role on a 5-day roster, including weekends, evenings and public holidays (7-day roster applies DecemberJanuary).Criteria: Proven experience in a similar operations, venue or restaurant management role Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, train and motivate staff Solid financial management skills reporting, cost control, hitting targets Excellent organisational and problem-solving ability A hands-on approach with strong attention to detail Wine knowledge or formal training (eg WSET) is highly regarded but not essentialResponsibilities include: Running day-to-day restaurant operations with a hands-on approach Leading and developing the front-of-house team Driving exceptional service standards and guest satisfaction Partnering with the Head Chef to deliver a first-class restaurant experience Reporting on financial performance, quality, and customer feedback Managing booking software systems Recruiting, training and (when required) performance managing staff Building strong relationships with suppliers, partners and internal teams Competitive salary based on experience A supportive work environment that values work-life balance Working with a team of professionals in a fun, creative team Opportunities for professional growth Daylight-focussed rosterPlease submit your resume and a cover letter via Seek by 8 September.
