Respect, Energy and Effort, Attitude and Leadership encapsulate what we stand for at Fulton Hogan and encourage us to foster a diverse and inclusive culture where we listen to, care for, celebrate, and respect everyone.What''s on offer?We are looking for Multi Skilled Road Workers to be part of our team in the Orbost region, undertaking planned maintenance work across the Victorian Road Maintenance Contract, working closely with the Department of Transport and Planning.You will be responsible for:Vegetation control, graffiti removal, pothole repairs, edge break repairs, general flood work & sign installation/maintenanceMobile plant operation (e.g., pavers, rollers, skid steers, cab coat truck)Road work construction and maintenance and safe operation near live trafficToolbox meetings, pre-starts, risk assessments, and project-specific data captureReporting back to the Coordinator on a daily basisAdhering to all safety guidelines and protocolsAdditional activities include asphalt laying and physical duties such as shovelling, raking, and brooming. Candidates should have:How you will connect to the role?Leading hand experience, including managing crews and building/delivering programsAvailability to work overtime, weekends, and nights as requiredExperience with earthworks/pipe layingCompetence with skid steers, rollers, and excavatorsEssential licences/experience include:HC Truck licenceCompetency with rollers, skid steers, and excavatorsCurrent traffic tickets (preferred)This role requires being on call approximately 1 week in 10, managing after-hours call-outs.Positions are based at our Orbost Depot.
