A leader in battery recycling and energy innovation is seeking a General Manager Sales & Commercial to drive its next phase of growth. This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-growing, purpose-driven organisation at the forefront of Australias transition to a circular economy.As a key member of the leadership team, you will shape and execute commercial strategy, build high-value customer partnerships, and scale sales operations across industrial, energy, and recycling sectors. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, you will lead a small team to secure long-term agreements and identify new market opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesLeading commercial strategy and national sales executionBuilding and managing strategic customer and industry relationshipsLead and mentor a high-performing sales team.Identifying new market opportunities and partnerships across battery and materials recovery value chainsNegotiate MOUs and strategic commercial agreements.Driving revenue growth in alignment with business goalsYour backgroundBachelors degree in business (accounting), engineering, or a related field (MBA a plus)810 years of progressive sales experience, including 5+ years in leadershipStrong background in recycling, battery, or industrial sectorsProven ability to negotiate complex deals and build strategic partnershipsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsWillingness to travel nationally and occasionally overseasFamiliarity with the Australian energy market and regulatory landscapeThis role offers the chance to make a real impact in a sector thats shaping the future.
