This is an opportunity to work in a caring, multicultural environment where your contribution helps enrich lives every day.Why Join Bene Aged Care?Part-time role with potential for additional hoursA calm and friendly place tucked away in the beautiful Adelaide HillsSupportive, inclusive, and multicultural teamWork at a respected not-for-profit aged care organisationOngoing training and career development opportunitiesSalary packaging available to increase your take-home payMake a meaningful impact in the lives of residents, including those living with dementiaAbout The RoleAs a Lifestyle Assistant at St Pauls, you will design and deliver engaging individual and group activities to support residents emotional, physical, and social wellbeing.Your Responsibilities IncludePlanning and facilitating lifestyle programs based on individual needsSupporting new residents as they settle into the homeDocumenting participation and outcomes of lifestyle activitiesAdvocating for residents and addressing any concerns or requestsMaintaining compliance with aged care quality standards and policiesAssisting with evaluation of residents wellbeing and providing updates to nursing staffContributing to safe, respectful, and enjoyable living environmentsWhat Were Looking ForNational Police Certificate (current or willingness to obtain)First Aid CertificateManual Handling trainingValid Drivers LicenceUnderstanding of aged care issuesStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work respectfully in a diverse, team-based settingDesirableCertificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle or related fieldAwareness of dementia care principlesExperience with aged care documentationKnowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and WHSAbility to speak Italian is highly regardedWho We AreBene Aged Care is a not-for-profit organisation committed to delivering compassionate, person-centred care to older South Australians.
