Join to apply for the Earthing and Bonding Engineer role at KBR, Inc.6 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the Earthing and Bonding Engineer role at KBR, Inc.Were seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer with specialist expertise in earthing and bonding to join our KBR Electrical Engineering & Consulting Team based in either Sydney or Melbourne. Youll be a key technical leader, driving the design and delivery of electrical systems across our six market sectors: Transport, Energy, Resources, Water, Defence & Buildings and Sustainable Solutions. This is a high-impact role that supports the safety, quality, and performance of critical infrastructure projects across the nation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development of electrical earthing and bonding system designs across infrastructure projectsProvide expert advice on installation, maintenance, and design best practicesPerform calculations and site testing (e.g., fall of potential, current injection, soil resistivity)Prepare high-quality technical documentation and make system improvement recommendationsEnsure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and safety regulationsCollaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, contractors, and clients to deliver project outcomesManage design budgets, schedules, and resourcing to meet project timelinesMentor junior engineers and contribute to a strong technical cultureSkills & Experience RequireBachelors degree in electrical engineering or related fieldCPEng accreditation (or eligible to applyMTM Designer/Checker competency highly regardedMinimum 7 years experience in the design and engineering of earthing and bonding systemProficient in CDEGS and electrical design softwareStrong understanding of infrastructure sector standards and electrical safety principleExceptional problem-solving and communication skillProven ability to work both independently and as part of a teaSolid project management and prioritisation capabilitiesAbout KBRKBR is renowned for working in partnership with our clients and construction partners to deliver exceptional outcomes based on our collaborative approach and our One Team value.In Australia, KBR employ nearly 2000 people with offices in each state.
