Referring vets entrust us with the care of their clients and pets, and this trust is paramount to everything we do. We pride ourselves on our attitude to care and the ability to work together respectfully and effectively.Between specialist departments in surgery, internal medicine, ophthalmology, imaging and a 24/7 emergency department, we work as one team to ensure outstanding patient care and exceptional customer service. Our custom-built clinic (1200m2) is designed around a synergistic approach to patient care and is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. This includes intensive care facilities, large central treatment area, surgery wing, full suite of imaging equipment and dedicated medicine room.About The RoleThe General Manager will play a vital role in shaping the future of The Austin. This is a commercially focused leadership position with full P&L accountability of a growing veterinary specialist and emergency clinic.Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, youll be responsible for enhancing operational performance and ensuring a high quality experience for patients, clients, team members and referring veterinarians, thereby delivering sustainable business growth.This role will have a close relationship with the Directors to ensure the business meets the three pillars of our hospital: Outstanding specialist vet care, Exceptional customer service and a Fulfilling place to work.RoleThe role covers a lot of territory, and every day will be different with new challenges so being adaptable is important.
