The Senior Advisory Officer provides advice in complex matters across a number of information access pathways. Tasks may include coordinating objections for subpoenas issued on the Commissioner of Police, assisting in the progression of legal proceedings before the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal, providing guidance and advice across InfoLink to ensure appropriate decision making regarding the release of NSWPF information. The role also makes recommendations in relation to policy, procedures and opportunities to enhance capability across InfoLink and improve compliance with information access legislation including the delivery of training across the Command.SalaryBase salary ranges from $113,574 to $125,720 plus employer''s contribution to superannuation of 12% and annual leave loading.Experience working with legislation is essential, with a strong preference for candidates familiar with legislation related to information access.View the relevant role description for more information on this role (e.g. essential requirements, key accountabilities, key challenges and capabilities required for the role)What we can offer youAt NSWPF our people have access to a range of benefits that help balance life at work and at home.
