Were looking for a proactive and driven Project Manager to manage low to medium risk projects that expand and maintain our Bus and Ferry network. Youll lead diverse teams of in-house experts and private sector professionals, driving impactful projects that make a real difference across the Public Transport Authority. Responsibilities Manage the full delivery of infrastructure projects, including planning, budgeting, design input, scheduling, and risk management, ensuring compliance with the PTAs Project Management Framework. Oversee contract management activities such as procurement, tendering, contract administration, and dispute resolution to maintain project progress and budget control. Lead and support project teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies and community groups, to ensure clear communication and alignment of project objectives. Support continuous improvement by documenting lessons learned, reviewing project performance, and contributing to divisional policies and strategies. About You To excel in this role, you should possess: Demonstrated experience in project management, with eligibility for Professional Membership of the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) or an equivalent qualification. Strong leadership skills, including the ability to lead, mentor, and coach team members. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships, negotiate outcomes, and resolve conflicts. Proficiency with relevant systems and software required to perform the duties of this role efficiently.
