Our success is built on our owner-driver model, market-facing underwriting authority, and a claims advocacy approach that prioritises excellence and efficiency.About the RoleReporting directly to the CFO, the Deputy CFO is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the Group. Youll ensure robust financial reporting, compliance with all statutory and regulatory obligations, and deliver high-quality financial planning, forecasting, and analysis. This role is central to supporting strategic decision-making and driving operational efficiency across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesLead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processesPrepare accurate management accounts and financial statementsMaintain general ledger integrity and financial systemsSupport CFO with board reporting and presentationsCompliance & RegulatoryEnsure compliance with GST, PAYG, FBT, income tax, and other obligationsManage ASIC and Corporations Act requirementsLiaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatorsPlanning, Forecasting & AnalysisLead annual budgeting and periodic reforecastsDeliver insightful variance analysis and performance recommendationsIdentify cost-saving and efficiency opportunitiesManage and mentor a small finance teamFoster a high-performance culture with ongoing developmentAllocate tasks and monitor team deliverablesProcess ImprovementChampion automation and system enhancementsImplement best practices in finance operations and internal controlsWhat Youll BringBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCPA or CA qualification (mandatory)Minimum 15 years experience in financial management, ideally in insurance or regulated industriesStrong technical knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax legislationProven leadership and stakeholder management skillsAdvanced proficiency in financial systems (Excel, Xero, MYOB, or similar ERP)Strategic mindset with a hands-on approachWhy Join 360?At 360, its our people and relationships that set us apart.
