A specialist in human factors, human-centred design, and accessibility, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our major infrastructure projects are safe, intuitive, and accessible for everyone. This is a key position where you will be the bridge between technology and people. You should be confident in communicating and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, including engineers, clients, and end-users. Your expertise will be crucial in translating complex technical requirements into user-friendly and inclusive designs.ResponsibilitiesLead human factors, human-centred design, and accessibility initiatives on large-scale infrastructure projects.Advise and collaborate with project teams, engineers, and clients to integrate user needs and human performance principles into design and development.Conduct research, workshops, and user studies to inform design decisions.Ensure all designs and solutions meet relevant accessibility standards.Provide expert guidance and consultation, representing the company at a senior level.While primarily focused on Australian projects, you may be required to provide support on international projects.About YouExtensive experience in human factors, human-centred design, and accessibility, with a strong portfolio of work.Proven ability to confidently engage with and influence senior stakeholders, engineers, and clients.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.A passion for creating designs that are not only functional but also safe, efficient, and accessible to all.A proactive and collaborative mindset, ready to tackle complex challenges and contribute to a high-performing team.Requirements7+ years experience in human factors or a related disciplineA relevant ergonomics/human factors/ organisational psychology degree (bachelor or masters)Membership of a relevant professional body, with a desire to achieve registered/chartered statusWhat we OfferA positive team culture, flexible working arrangements, employee discount benefits, opportunities to be part of unique and transformative projects while learning from industry experts.
