We''re here to Stride.About the serviceAbout the service:The Wollongong Mental Health Hub is a community mental health and wellbeing service, providing community outreach and in HUB supports. We are open to everyone in the community for mental health support. Participants can access a range of community mental health support services; clinical mental health services; care coordination and Peer supports.On OfferBased in Wollongong, NSWPermanent, full-time opportunity availableSalary Packaging options (up to $15,899 tax free!)Meals and entertainment allowance of up to $2,650!Leave loading at 17.5%Stride Rewards access to discounts from 100s of retailers (fashion, food and fitness)One paid wellbeing leave day per yearPurchase up to 5 additional leave days in a 12-month period (pro rata entitlement if part-time)Paid parental leave supportSupportive team environmentExcellent training and career developmentRole overviewActs as the central point of communication and provides a superior level of secretarial and reception services to young people, clinical and management headspace staff.Medical Reception duties including taking incoming calls and directing the caller to the appropriate member of staffAppointment scheduling and maintenance of clientsGeneral Office duties including opening and distribution of mail typing, scanning, filing and archivingAssist in the closing and securing of the building at the end of the dayTyping of Medical letters to members of the clinical teamMonitoring of Mental Health Care Plan and sessions to ensure seamless service deliveryLiaise with Clinical Service Manager to manage MBS billing and other billing systems through Medicare and other funding streamsLiaise with Clinical Service Manager to monitor and manage client pathwaysSupport the Clinical Service Manager in accessing General Practitioners and other community stakeholders for sharing information about Stride HubRequirementsIdeally a Certificate III in Medical Administration or similar qualificationExcellent administration, time management and organisational skills with attention to detail.Knowledge of the health /NFP sector with an ability to liaise with people from diverse backgroundsProven record in working closely with and being a successful member of a multidisciplinary teamDemonstrated communication, interpersonal, problem solving and organisational skillsWell-developed customer service skillsAbility to think and act calmly and deal sensitively with distressed people.Proficient Microsoft Office skillsUnderstanding of duty of care, rights to privacy and confidentialityMust have good availabilityMust be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWCCMust hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearanceA current unencumbered driver''s licenseStride is committed to the safeguarding of children and vulnerable people.
